Terms of Service
Read the plain-English draft Terms of Service for ClientNest accounts, client portals, projects, and billing. Lawyer review is required.
Using ClientNest
These draft terms describe use of the ClientNest website and client-work software. When publishing a final version, the operator should identify the legal entity providing the service and explain how users accept the terms.
You are responsible for providing accurate account details, protecting your sign-in credentials, and using the service lawfully. Account owners are responsible for managing team and client access to their workspace.
Your content and client permissions
You retain responsibility for the files, messages, client details, and other content you submit. You should have the rights and permissions needed to upload or share that content with your team and clients. Do not use ClientNest to violate another person's rights or to upload unlawful material.
Plans, invoices, and payments
Available plan limits and prices are shown on the pricing page. The final terms should explain how plan changes, payment requests, taxes, and cancellations work. A ClientNest invoice tool helps users prepare invoices for their own clients; it does not guarantee that those clients will pay.
Service availability and acceptable use
The service may change as it is developed. The final terms should set out any support commitments and permitted maintenance. Do not interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, or use another person's account.
Suspension, liability, and governing law
The final terms need a clear process for account suspension and termination, access to account content after termination, responsibility for losses, limitation of liability, dispute handling, and governing law. These terms must be drafted by a lawyer for the actual operator and jurisdictions in which the service is offered.
